Comment procéder avec Vienna Test System en ligne ?
À l’aide du CD, commencez par installer les droits d’accès du directeur du test sur un ordinateur quelconque équipé d'un accès Internet. Un raccourci placé sur le bureau vous relie au serveur par le biais du logiciel de base du Vienna Test System.

Le logiciel de base vous permet de gérer les données du test et des personnes ainsi que de préparer les batteries de tests (suite définie de tests). Cette fonctionnalité ne diffère nullement d'un logiciel de base installé localement.

Comment faire passer les tests ?
À partir du Vienna Test System, envoyez des courriers électroniques à un groupe de personnes et invitez-les à effectuer un test. Vous pouvez arranger la mise en page du courrier d'invitation à votre guise (logo, texte spécial, etc.).

Les sujets du test se connectent en cliquant sur un lien indiqué dans l'invitation et s'identifient en entrant le code qui leur a été attribué. De cette manière, ils accèdent directement à la batterie de tests que vous avez mise en place. La qualité est la même que celle de la version du Vienna Test System installée localement. Une fois les tests passés, le système enregistre les résultats sur le serveur. Si vous le souhaitez, vous pourrez également recevoir les résultats sous fichier PDF par courrier électronique.

Pour vous assurer que vos candidats ont bien effectué eux-mêmes le test chez eux, il existe une solution simple : invitez les personnes ayant obtenu les meilleurs résultats à passer chez vous et effectuez un bref screening.

Bon nombre de tests du Vienna Test System sont adaptatifs, c'est-à-dire que parmi une série d'exercices, ils ne proposent que ceux qui correspondent aux capacités du sujet. Comme le test se passe différemment pour chacun, il n'est pas possible de se préparer à l'avance ni de fausser les résultats.

Vienna Test System en ligne est exécuté en mode plein écran. Votre candidat ne peut donc pas ouvrir d'autres fenêtres sur son écran pour se procurer des informations.

Sécurité des données
Le test est entièrement réalisé sur le serveur. Ce dernier ne transmet à l'ordinateur que le contenu de l'écran qui doit être vu par la personne passant le test ; en retour, l'ordinateur ne communique au serveur que les comportements (par ex. les clics de souris). L'ensemble du processus d'évaluation s'effectue également sur le serveur.
